Bounce rate can be defined as a percentage of the visitors who come to your page then do not go to the others just within the same site. A good contrast is a powerful tool to direct the reader’s attention to where you want them to go.

    If use videos on our blog, it will be more effective to reduce the bounce rate of our site. Long and interesting articles are also milestone in this regard.

      True! I learned that from some of the brand workshops I attended to. One speaker said that we should invest in content with context. Not just some 500-word article that everybody knows about.

      I agree Sarah. Watch out for the ads and consider the user experience of your readers in designing your website. It’s one of my brand ethics that I should consider my readers first before being overly-fancy myself.

    Well, if you have a relatively close niche and your topic is close from each other, chances are people will stay longer on your site. It’s also important to keep your topics interesting as possible and your post title eye catcher as well.

    With regards to content, it is important to have quite a few to keep your readers on site. For example, if there are not enough options for a reader to go through he or she is less likely to stay on for a long time let alone return. Similarly, making these content easily accessible is also important. That, perhaps, is one reason why WordPress is good for bloggers as plugins such as the ‘related post plugin’ makes this possible.

    As I know high bounce rate is very bad for a website ranking in Search Engines specially in Google. Google considers the time spending of visitor after sending to a page.
