Adding Credibility By Making Your Company Look Bigger

One of the biggest challenges in creating a start-up business is making your company credible enough to get people to trust it and make a purchase. This is especially challenging if you are offering a product that you plan on releasing on a national scale.

How do you compete with brands that are bigger and have more resources than you? Simple—make it seem like your company is as big as your other giant competitors.

How do you do that? Well, here are some tips:

Build an e-commerce website

Building a standard is all well and good. Potential customers can access information about your product then they can go out and buy it the first chance they get. But with an e-commerce website, you can provide potential customers with information while giving them the option to purchase the product then and there.

With an e-commerce website, customers can make a transaction complete with payment through your website. After which, they just have to sit back and wait for their product to be delivered. It is convenient for customers, and it is convenient for you because the transaction is automated so you don’t even have to provide a dedicated manpower to man it.

The best thing about it this is that you do not even have to develop the site yourself, there are hosted e-commerce website  providers like BigCommerce that offers secure and safe sites that you can customize for your business needs.

Get a toll-free number and a PBX phone system

Toll-free numbers has long been taken as a sign of credibility by customers. By placing toll-free numbers in your ads, it can be perceived as a personal guarantee that if there are any concerns about the product or the company they can call your business for free.

Of course having a toll free-number is all well and good, but without a proper PBX system to manage the calls, you will only be able to receive one call at a time, which defeats the purpose of the toll-free number in the first place. What you need is a PBX system that will automatically receive all calls and route it to the correct extension or department.

You might argue that a PBX system is something that you cannot afford right now but there are actually cloud-hosted services like RingCentral business telephone systems where the PBX service is hosted remotely on the provider’s data center so you only need to subscribe for a monthly fee.

Present yourself professionally

You, as the owner of the business, are the image of your company; whether you like it or not. So anything you do will reflect on your company. So use it to make your company look bigger.

Start off by giving yourself an appropriate title. Calling yourself CEO instead of the owner of this company sounds better, don’t you think? Next, get your business cards professionally done. You don’t want to be handing out calling cards that are unevenly cut and are printed on cheap paper right? And last say ‘We’ instead of ‘I.’ By saying ‘We’ in your presentations and speaking engagements, you make it clear that you are representing an organization. That what you are saying is not merely your personal opinion, it is the position of your whole company.

Though you do not have the resources to throw for expensive ads and branding campaigns, there are small things that you can do to build up your credibility. Just don’t lose sight of what is important, which is the actual delivery of your promises to your customers.

Look for jeans that have spandex in the waistline. This will allow the jeans to hug the curves of your body, making your butt look bigger. Choose pants with some lift that will separate your butt from your thighs. Pants with large pockets or sequins on the back can make a butt appear larger.

Being professional in the way you act is what I think you are talking about. What can an e-commerce website do for your business?

You can route some of those toll free comments to SkypeIn numbers, which is handy. With those Toll free numbers, YOU pay, not the customer, so you must ask yourself if you can afford this.
