Best Energy Tools Necessary to Keep You Going… and Going…

Energy is what drives mankind. Whether it be from electricity, combustion, or any other source, man has sought and depended on it for all aspects of life. Over time, we have subsequently come up with sustained power sources to suit our needs. However, most of these power sources are fixed, without the versatility of being able to be moved, put away, and set back up over and over in any place or situation.

It is only in recent times that inventions and new sciences have provided better batteries, photovoltaic methods, and even storable wind power; solutions to this ages-old problem. Society has demanded more from the energy sciences and the response is finally emerging. We now need our cell phones, laptops, PDAs and other electronics. As such, here are five devices that are now keeping you going:

Escape 150

The Escape 150, by Goal Zero, is a fantastic portable power source. It works by input power being stored in a strong internal battery. Input power can come from the typical 110v. wall outlet or even a solar panel. Output power comes from a three-prong standard outlet on the unit as well as a USB port and 12v. DC plug.

Escape 30

The Escape 30 Solar Briefcase, also by Goal Zero is an additional must have. This unit is affordable, yet rugged and effective. Users can simply open the case and start collecting energy. Cloud cover does not even stop the unit. Plug into your Escape 150 or other storage and conversion device, and you have unlimited free power.

Naztech Banks

Naztech Power Banks are another new option in portability. These “banks” come in a variety of styles but there are ample choices in input and output connections. They are designed for cell phones and other electronics, adding hours of valuable use time in any situation; another affordable option.

Power Monkey Chargers

Yet another option to keep those devices going is the Power Monkey Portable Charger. These relatively small chargers work off of a number of input sources including AA batteries and solar energy. As mentioned, they are pleasantly small but versatile and usable on most all common devices.

Your Own Device Batteries

Finally, do not overlook your devices’ own internal batteries. These do eventually fail. You can make bad timing a non-issue when they do go, simply by having replacements on standby. For example, Batteries4Less is a notable provider of most common device battery replacements.

These are only five examples of the emerging freedom in the portable energy world. Camping, hiking, and all out readiness are now in our hands. Look around for your own specific needs. There is probably a device ready to support it in extraordinary conditions.
